Planted in 1980, these organically farmed vines located in the Northern Mayacamas Mountain range at 2,200 feet elevation.
The volcanic gravelly soil is a well-drained site and gets abundant sunshine, while the elevation keeps it cool and preserves acidity in the grapes.
Winemaking
Fermented and aged in a combination of barrels and 400 Liter puncheons, whereas 25% was new French oak.
Tasting Notes
This stainless-steel fermented Chardonnay is refreshing,
crisp and finishes with a hint of green apple flavors.
