OUR STORY: Making Wine in Healdsburg, California
The Peregrine Ranch Story
The year was 2010 in the charming Dry Creek Valley of Healdsburg, California, when family friends Jeff and Jennifer Meyer and John and Patti Saini (www.sainivineyards.com) envisioned a farm to table wine brand that would harmonize with the land, taste delicious and be sold at a fair price. As a result, Peregrine Ranch was born.
Many of our wines are sourced from vineyards owned by S&K Ranch (Meyer) and Saini Vineyards. With the guidance of Winemaker Leo Hansen (www.leosteenwines.com), our wines are crafted to cater to both our individual consumers as well as the hospitality/restaurant industry.
As stewards of this beautiful estate, Peregrine Ranch, we cultivate and produce wine with a sustainable footprint, aiming to minimize our impact on the environment. The decision to name the property after the family of falcons that call The Ranch home was an effortless one. Watching these majestic birds soar over the vineyards inspired us to honor and bring more awareness to their presence which is an important part of our ecosystem.
Preserving the environment holds great significance for us. Situated along the Dry Creek Waterway, our vineyard is a proud participant in the Fish Friendly Farming program. We dedicate ourselves to maintaining the purity of our aquatic ecosystems, ensuring a thriving future for the Steelhead and Coho Salmon species.
